🔰 Pursuant to Decree 38/2022/ND-CP stipulating the minimum wages of regions as follows:

🔗 Region I increased by 260,000 VND, from 4,420,000 VND/month to 4,680,000 VND/month.

🔗 Region II increased by 240,000 VND, from 3,920,000 VND/month to 4,160,000 VND/month.

🔗 Region III increased by 210,000 VND from 3,430,000 VND/month to 3,640,000 VND/month.

🔗 Region IV increased by 180,000 VND from 3,070,000 VND/month to 3,250,000 VND/month.

👉 The above minimum wage increases by an average of 6% (corresponding to an increase of VND 180,000 - VND 260,000) compared to the current minimum wage.

🔗 About the minimum hourly wage in 4 regions: Region I is 22,500 VND/hour, Region II is 20,000 VND/hour, Region III is 17,500 VND/hour, and Region IV is 15,600 VND/hour.

🔰 Minimum wage is the lowest salary paid to employees who do the simplest jobs in normal working conditions in order to ensure a minimum standard of living for workers and their families, suitable for socio-economic development conditions.    

🔰 The employer operating in an area in any region shall apply the minimum wage rate prescribed for that area;

✔ HCM City Social insurance should review the agreements in the labor contract, the collective labor agreement, and the regulations of the enterprise to adjust and supplement accordingly; must not remove or reduce wage regimes when employees work overtime, overtime at night, compensation in-kind and other regimes in accordance with the labor law.

✔ For the agreed contents and other legal commitments that are more beneficial to the employees than those specified in Decree 38, they will continue to be implemented. In which, there is a salary regime paid to employees that is at least 7% higher than the minimum salary for doing jobs or titles through training.

✔ For the policy of reducing the contribution rate to the occupational accident and disease fund equal to 0% of the salary fund as the basis for social insurance payment according to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTG, which has been implemented for 12 months, from July 1, 2021, to the end of June 30, 2022.

✔ Therefore, HCM City Social Insurance from July 1, 2022, the employer will pay the occupational accident and disease fund at the rate of 0.5% of the salary fund as a basis for paying social insurance premiums according to Decree No. Decree No. 58/2020/ND-CP stipulates the compulsory social insurance premium payment to the occupational accident and disease fund.

✔ No later than July 25, 2022, the employer must submit a dossier to adjust the salary payment for social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and occupational disease insurance for employees according to the new minimum salary (if any).

✔ After the above deadline, if the unit has not adjusted, the social insurance agency will temporarily adjust the salary paid for social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and occupational disease insurance by the new minimum salary for employees.
