How long do I need to pay social insurance benefits for the real estate regime?

Having intermittent social insurance contributions to enjoy maternity benefits?
Employees are entitled to the maternity regime when meeting the following conditions:
In one of the following cases:
+ The pregnant female employee;
+ The female employee gives birth to a child;
+ The female employee is surrogate and the mother asks for surrogacy;
+ The employee adopts a child under 06 months old;
+ The female employee has an intrauterine device, the employee applies the sterilization method;
+ The male employee who is paying the social insurance premiums with a wife gives birth.
- The female employee giving birth ... must pay social insurance (social insurance) from full 06 months or more within 12 months before giving birth or adopting a child.
- In case the female employee gives birth to a child who has paid social insurance premiums for full 12 months or more while pregnant and has to take leave to take care of her pregnancy as prescribed by the hospital, she must pay the social insurance premium for full 03 months or more within 12 months before giving birth child.
Thus, female employees giving birth to enjoy the maternity regime need to meet the conditions for paying social insurance premiums for full 6 months or more within 12 months before giving birth.
Accordingly, it is not compulsory to pay social insurance for 6 consecutive months during the 12 months before giving birth to enjoy the maternity benefits.

The rate of maternity benefits
The female employee giving birth will be entitled to a lump-sum allowance for each child equal to 2 times the base salary in the month the female employee gives birth.
In case of giving birth but only father is covered by social insurance, the father is entitled to receive this allowance.
Currently, the base salary is 1.39 million VND / month (according to Decree 72/2018 / ND-CP, the maternity allowance will be 2.78 million VND.
From July 1, 2019, the base salary will officially increase to 1.49 million VND / month (according to Resolution 70/2018 / QH14). From this point, the female employee giving birth will receive a maternity allowance of 2.98 million VND / month; an increase of 200,000 VND compared to the present.
